People between the ages of 13-64 must have at least one HIV test. All sexually active women under the age of 25 should be screened annually for gonorrhea and chlamydia, while women aged 25 and above have a higher risk of contracting an STD due to multiple partners and should be tested annually for gonorrhea and chlamydia. All sexually active gay and bisexual men should be screened yearly for syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. Those with multiple or anonymous partners should get tested at least every 3 to 6 months. Anyone who has unprotected sex or shares injecting equipment should be tested for HIV at least once a year.
